Shetland Sheepdogs
We are firm believers that the measure of a good dog is not in how many puppies he is able to produce, but in the depth of the quality found in all his offspring; essentially, we want every book to be a 'best seller'! To that end, our boys are offered very selectively by Private Treaty once they have achieved their championship.
Currently residing here at Chapters are:
Ronan placed 2nd in the Open Black class under respected breeder/judge Jo Virden at the ASSA National Specialty in Albany Oregon. After completing his Championship under j. Joan Zielinski, he flew right on past that hurdle and completed his Grand Championship in style under respected breeder-judge David Calderwood, by going BOS at the Emerald Empire Sheltie specialty, garnering a Group placement - again under j. Joan Zielinski, along the way. He is enjoying semi-retirement, making room for his kids to follow in his footsteps.
We have three Ronan offspring who are already making their mark and on the way to their Championships as well. Check out the New Releases page for news clips and videos of them as they grow. New photos to follow soon!

Ronan has also attained CHIC status # 81494 and has the following health clearances:

Grand CH Cimmaron Real Steel
Trent came to us this past winter through the generosity of our dear friend, Sue Worsham of Cimmaron. We are thrilled that he has joined our family! His outstanding movement, solid athleticism and genuinely affectionate personality are a good fit for our program. He brings a pedigree that we have long enjoyed and respected, and we're excited about incorporating him into our line.
Trent earned his Grand Championship title in whirlwind fashion, garnering multiple Group placements along the way! He too has offspring growing up here at Chapters - and several more in performance homes here in the NW. Watch for the new page coming soon featuring those kids and their families.
